Looking at this picture makes me wish my house backed onto forest so I could hold a party like this!

 BUT, I would not like my house to back onto forest whilst living alone...

If you haven't heard of Jonathan Adler you are seriously missing out! When I get my ass over to America his store is one of the first on my list to see. (Australia seriously misses out on so many great stores! - Not Cool!)

Everything he does just puts a smile on my face!

He even designed this life sized Barbie house!

He is not only a super talented interior designer but he designs the most adorable and fun homewares and furniture (I waste HOURS on this site)

Work Shop

Jonny has told me that once we have a new carport built (part of our renovation plans) that the garage will be mine to turn into a work shop. 

This is exactly how a work shop should look. Don't you agree?

Tea.

I LOVE TEA CUPS.

I started collecting second hand tea cups when Belinda and I had our mad hatters party and since then I'm always on the look out. I went out today to check out a few life line stores and second hand stores as well as Woolloongabba Antiques.

While I was out I found a 2 tiered Royal Albert (Old Country Roses) cake stand. It was the cheapest I have EVER seen one. I pretty much pee'd my pants with excitement over this purchase!

Other purchases for today

I would love to have a heap of tea cups and vintage dinner sets (all miss matched) so I could hold high teas like these.

New items and an auction!

So I finish tafe for the semester in 1 week! Im so excited to get a whole month off and plan to do up a few more pieces over the holidays. BUT in all my assignment procrastination I have managed to finish off a view items that have been half done! (YAY!!)

I have also donated the black and white lamp that was for sale to a charity fundraiser being held tonight for Cystic Fibrosis. Fingers crossed someone (or more then one) likes it and buys it!

Flowers

Back in high school (and even soon after I left) I was contemplating getting into floristry. I have always loved flowers and thought it would be so amazing working with them everyday. For some reason though I never did do the floristry course I had my eye on. 

I went through a stage (a good 2 or 3 year stage) of buying fresh flowers from the markets every week. It was the main reason I went to the markets. I always bought them just before leaving so I could spend the whole time deciding on what I wanted to get. 

I have been day dreaming lately about the flowers I want in our garden when we finish our renovations. Ranunculus and Hydrangea are my favourites and on top of my list of flowers to plant. I can't wait - no more having to go to the markets to buy them!
